Look like ‘Turbines’ to me - an LF405 wheel.

Sorry, I don’t know the LR number for them.

Someone who does will, I’m sure, be along in a minute Smile What do I put here then?

Kind of look like turbines but something not quite right about them.

I found them.. thanks. Turbine Style 7. genuine wheels are over £2000.. copy's are available on ebay for £186 per wheel. I think I will put a set of 20" on my shopping list..

All the originals I see are 22".. the copys are available in 20".. they are probably copies.

Laughing Shocked I see.. ok.. it'll need to be genuine ones then, but I'm not keen on 22".. so they are off the menu altogether then. I'm not buying copy's if they are not fit for purpose.

Its all about knowing what risk you are taking sir...

Im not trying to say ALL replica wheels are made the same way because they are not BUT......... There are replica wheels and there are “fake” wheels! How do you tell one from another when they are shiny and new?

The usual common sense approach me thinks... If a deal looks too good to be true........ Or stupidly cheap.........

I'm no mathematician but the nearly 3 tonnes shifts right? So if your going around a corner the front outside will take a lot more weight. Like more than a tonne, easily?

Then if you hit a pothole in the middle of that corner it's at least a one tonne impact?

Which is why those nasty cheapo wheels crack.

So an update.. I ended up with these wheels AND I bought the actual car they are fitted to, too!.. Laughing

I have been running them for a few weeks now, both on and off road, they have been banged over some real nasty potholes, have been exposed to snow ice and subzero temps..so far so good.

They use nice wide 275/45/20 tyres and must also be a wide offset too as they stick out just nicely.. mine are fitted with General Grabber all terrain tyres and I'm really pleased with how they look. In snow, you wouldn't even know there was any snow. Top marks.

These cost £186 each on eBay (I did not buy them , they were on the car when I bought it!). Great value.. I'm going to buy a 5th one for the spare and maybe even a 6th as a back up. Thumbs Up
