Hi, I wonder if anyone can shine a light on my problem when I press the switch on the door to select access height I get fault light and bong.

I get the same fault light and bong if I press the centre console switch, This is when the engine is running.

When I turn the ignition off then press the lowering switch on the centre console the switch is illuminated and the car drops down? when I turn the ignition back on there is no fault and the car functions as it should,

The function only seems to work after the ignition is turned off.but before the ECU`s shut down

I can appreciate that it has to vent air but why only when the ignition is off.

Any help would be appreciated?

When the ignition is on, can you select the off road height from the centre console ? V8 or else ...

Knowing the fault code produced would likely be useful.
