Radio stuck on Splash Screen.

My 07 Vogue has developed a fault with the audio system, in that in goes no further than the Land Rover splash screen, no mater how long you leave it for.

The display unit is completely unresponsive to button presses, and also the Bluetooth unit isn’t visible to my phone, it is almost like the system isn’t booting up.

It started yesterday evening a couple of hours after I had to jump start the car as I had come out of work to be presented by a flat battery, my little Li-On jump pack started the car fine and the audio system was fine and it was on the next couple of journeys that evening, but on the last journey it just sat at the splash screen and it has done on all the journeys today.

Has anyone got any suggestions ?

I think there's a fuse you can pull to reset it but not sure which one.

I'm sure somebody will be along in a minute with the correct info.

From a bit of reading around I think I have a fault on the MOST ring, this is sorted of backed out as I have tried unplugg8ng the MOST connections from the TMC, TV, and Bluetooth and I am not getting a red light.

I will take a look at the amp tomorrow and check all the fuses and do a battery reset.

You could just try disconnecting the battery -ve terminal, leave it disconnected for 5 minutes, reconnect and see what happens.

Yes think I will give a battery disconnect/reset tomorrow when it is light. Certainly easier than removing modules to get to the amp.

So got the audio system working again today.

I tried a battery reset but that didn’t seem to make any difference, so I decided to eliminate devices on the MOST ring, I started with the iPod adapter and CD changer when I removed the changer from the breakout on the iPod adapter and put a loop in place everything work.

What is more odd I removed the loop and then everything still worked so who knows what fixed it but it is working again which is the main thing Smile
