L322 fault help please

Hi
Please can you help.

My 2009 tdv8 range rover westminster has a fault.

When it is really cold I set off as usual and it went into limp mode.

Showed engine fault. I stopped, turned engine off and back on. Readout on dash said:
S / V active

When I drove away the dash went back to normal and it ran fine, no fault from then on and hasn't done it since

Turned back on and it ran perfect, started etc from then on.
This is what the previous owner said happened every now and again and as soon as it had been turned on and off it ran fine.

I have had it a fortnight and this is the first time it has done it.

Any ideas?

Could be low battery throwing up a fault but then turning on and off would go against that logic as takes some power to turn it on.

Could be a stuck turbo actuator that's freed off when turning off and on.

Also could be other things so best bet is to have the codes read and see if it's thrown one up. Current 2007 TDV8 Vogue Buckingham Blue

Sound like it could be either a split top hose easy to check if you search on here, or if you are unlucky will be a split inlet manifold. If it's not the hose then you can check the manifold by spraying soapy water on it. One will be a cheap fix the manifold more like £800 ish. Current 2007 TDV8 Vogue Buckingham Blue

Check intercooler hose for splits.
Get codes read by a decent LR garage if that doesn't cure it.
