IMO and from experience it makes no difference at all, Specially on a TDV8 with so much torque, It reduces your final rpm on highways which is a good thing and drops fuel consumption. I have run the bigger tires (275/55/20 AT) on TD6 and TDV8 without issues, In fact it is perfect as you still have a nice 20" wheel for looks but actualy have some half decent sidewall at the same time.... One side note is your braking power is slightly reduced and low range not as low but its really here nor there.. who takes these things offload anyway
