I totally agree. I have the same experience of dogs setting off the tailgate. I too would welcome a disable option. |

There has been a lot of criticism on the lack of a "disable feature" across all JLR products that now have the gesture tailgate.

They’ve just ditched green paint, good luck if you think the designers and marketeers give a stuff about people using them like they used to. Most of them nowadays are ordered for drive-by shooting rather than driven game. |
