I want another car

However, in order to justify it to my wife (SWMBO) it has to have side steps (current car has deployables) and not be black or grey and have a light coloured interior. For my part I use the deployable towbar and so would prefer something 2019 onwards with Appleplay and EURO 6. Most of my journeys are very short so diesel (I change the oil so often on my current car I could do it in my sleep), petrol or hybrid would all be considered - up to £60k for the right car - if it can be found anywhere. I have seen suitable cars but would have to get steps (Pegasus) and a towbar (PF Jones) fitted.

I did enjoy the 5.0L supercharged I used to own. Twisted Evil Geoff

Just my 2p...

Buy a 5.0 V8 quad cam with supercharger because lets face it, it's the last time you will be able to....

A four motor electric Range Rover (when they make one) will be faster and more economical but it will sound like a sewing machine...

Thumbs Up Pete

Does the P400e use the 2.0 L ignium petrol engine ?
The reason I ask was , when I recently visited my local independent his yard was very full of various models, most with failed ignium petrol engines which he was not very complimentary about.??

Yes P400e uses that 2.0 ingenium.. I thought it was the diesel version that is problematic not the petrol version? My one hasn’t missed a beat but a sample of one is hardly useful! I think it drives great, plenty of get up and go. The downside is that the economy is terrible. Doesn’t bother me because I didn’t buy it for economy I bought it to be able to buzz around on EV and have a better stop start experience, and I love it. The diesels are probably the best to be fair but I personally did not want diesel anymore because I do such low mileage. The 5.0 was almost the same price but as I say, I wanted to be able to buzz on EV etc etc and the hybrid was an easier sell to the accountant I sleep with. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)...
