Looking to change my H7s ( 2007 VSE ) with adaptive headlights, would anyone know if these

I jave the night breakers fitted but thought these might be better if they fitted 2015 4.4 AB

there's a large heat sink on the back of these so they 'might' not fit in the headlight unit...i'd check the measurements... ... - .- -.

I've got a set of those h7 led bulbs to go in my high beam lights. I've tried twice to fit them without success. The spring that holds the bulb into the light fitting is almost impossible to refit with the led bulbs in situ, mainly due to the limited space available at the rear of the headlight. I have reluctantly come to the conclusion that they are impossible to fit without removing the headlight from the car.
I have been considering fitting the bulbs by discarding the springs and instead holding them in place with thin copper wire but not totally sold on the idea.
The one thing I have found is they are not plug and play, they are difficult to fit.

In addition if you do manage to fit them I doubt the removable plastic cover on the rear of the headlight could be refitted.

Hey. Do you still get the 'test pulse' in the headlights if your running LED's??
I had to fit an inline resistor box to my 05' L322 when towing my camper or box with LED's fitted otherwise (even with the ignition off) i'd get a rhythmic flash coming thru to the trailer. Very annoying.
Just wondering if the same happens with the headlights..Cos Id like to go LED. Just cut a neat round hole in the cover to accomodate the heat sink.

They are the same style as I have fitted. They fit with plenty of room fot the covrr to go back on.
You will have to remove the headlight unit from the car and whlist it is fiddly it isnt difficult.
I posted up about this a while back.

just to clarify, the 2002-2009 FF's headlights are easily taken out to fit the bulbs but the 2010-2012 headlights need the bumper to be taken off to get the headlights out.... ... - .- -.
