Mine does the same, strangely it only happens on the rear drivers side door.

Sounds like a faulty outer door seal to me. Discovery 4 HSE

I've been getting this recently - this is due to the dual door seals, water gets stuck in-between the two... The water enters through the outer felt seal at the top of the door.

Surely that would allow deep water in as well.

Most car doors have drains weep hole etc. there never 100% water tight, holding waterl is not good it will rust sooner or later. 2004 black Vogue TD6 |

There is already a drain hole in the bottom of the door - thats to let water out of the inside of the door. You wouldnt want to make a hole in the door seal - if you ever went through water up to the bottom of the doors you would very quickly have wet feet.

mine does this too, i read on a forum some where that its an alignment issue. apparently this is not uncommon and landrover just realign the door to sort it out. my door looks nice and aligned already though, strange. |

Beat me to it. Apparently not much of a re-alignment is necessary - and I believe it is 'in' rather than up/down/sideways. ![]() RRC 2Dr, RRC 4Dr, P38, and 2 L322s (wife thinks I'm nuts - prob right, too) |
