Dear all, I fancy these for my forthcoming 09 Autobiagraphy. It currently has the fixed rubber variety which I really dont like the look of.

@Lester, the motors are sealed enough to cope with "normal" driving. All cabling and access to cabin is adequate too. They are actually very well made.

Cheers all. Not intending to be a mud plugger, but will take the advice about retaining front mud flaps. |

I've just replaced my fixed ones with these and am really pleased. The fixed ones had literally crumbled away to dust and actually broke when my wife stood on them (bit odd as the paperwork with the car suggests they were only 3 years old).

Wow Craig! They were literally collapsing under their own weight! Looked older than the car!

I'm thinking of changing my rusty old fixed side steps for deployables, mine have been on since the car was new and it's a 2009 model so can't complain about them being rusty really. My question is do the deployable steps use the same holes that the old fixed ones use? And if they do I'm hoping the bolts will come out and leave nice clean bolt holes for the new steps. 2009 Vogue SE Zermatt silver |

Mine did. Soak them in plus gas or something equivalent first though!

It wouldn't hurt to find out what they would charge.
