Passenger Mirror Reverse Tilt Action

Hi all
Had the postman hit the passenger wing mirror, knocking it towards the car door. I pulled it back into position, however when reversing it no longer tilts downwards. All other actions from the mirror switch work well from the drivers door switch pack, moving the mirror in all diections - any suggestions? Steve

If I remember correctly the mirror switch needs to be twisted to the near side mirror for it to dip?? Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE

The other way about, Stu. Wink With the mirror switch selected for adjustment of the offside (right hand facing forward) mirror the nearside (left hand facing forward) mirror will dip when reverse is selected. John

Sorry for my late reply, Weegie was right - the mirror is now operating when reversing with the switch in correct position on the drivers side, my mistake! We all learn. Steve
