Don't know if anyone has an idea, my 2004 4.4 has an intermittent rumble. It sounds like uneven road noise It rumbles for about a second then stops for a second and so on. It seems to do it when just cruising if I accelerate or decelerate it disappears, it speeds up the faster you go. I get a similar sound on my 90 when wheel bearings are on the way out. I don't know if it's connected but if I pull away on full lock you feel something similar. Think it's front near side. Could it be cv joint?
