2006 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Java Black
STRANGE PROBLEM

when i go to start it seems theres no power to the key. fuel pump doesnt cut in. and theres no electric to nothing. i started it earlier and the battery light came on so i turned it off and there was no power at all as if the battery was disconnected but i checked and that was fine. its done it a couple of times today and once it did it while i was driving down the street. just like something is cutting all the power. if i turn the ignition key a few times it powers up again. any ideas anyone

thanks

check your connections to the battery. Mine did similair recently and was confirmed when i could remove it by hand easily. Ended up having to replace the negative lead and it fixed it..

I had this its the control module at the bottom of the key barrel has to be done by a dealer as has to be coded to the car, its about £60 for the part plus the labor.

I did mine on my Td6. No coding was required. Straight swap - once you take the top of the console out.

Some information here https://www.aulro.com/afvb/l322-range-rove...tch-2.html re replacing. The thread shows a clean up of contacts.

When I did mine I replaced the switch with new. About £90 IIRC from Dan@Duckworths. John
