check your connections to the battery. Mine did similair recently and was confirmed when i could remove it by hand easily. Ended up having to replace the negative lead and it fixed it.. |

ive checked them mate and they are all tight. but i think its something along them term. i will check all the earths to body and chassis etc tomorrow Current. FFRR Vogue. TD6 Java black.

I had this its the control module at the bottom of the key barrel has to be done by a dealer as has to be coded to the car, its about £60 for the part plus the labor. |

I did mine on my Td6. No coding was required. Straight swap - once you take the top of the console out.

Had the same problem with my saab and the mercedes , the key is read as its inserted , if the unit is going bad , no kiss kiss no bang bang |
