rear view mirror removal

Can anybody shed some light on how I get the rear view mirror off as I need to change my rain sensor I have looked in Rave but dosn't really help and I don't want to break anything in the process ..

many thanks & lets hope we all have a cheaper year than last with our RR's

Just a thought, and feel free to dis-regard: Whilst you're in there - you could replace it with the dual light and rain one - then one day you can upgrade to auto lights.

The req is:
Light/Rain sensor
Light Switch with the A position
Lighting Module

i'd guess its bonded onto the glass somehow so maybe a word with a dealer or autoglass might help..

Romania 2019 Range Rover Vogue 2.0 PHEV Santorini Black

I removed it a while ago, when changing windscreen. The two plastic shells that surround the rain sensor and mirror support come apart quite easily as they just snap one into the other. Then you rotate the mirror support 1/4 anticlockwise and it just comes out from the metal disc that remains glued to the windscreen. After removing mirror plug and rain sensor plug the rain sensor is removed by pulling the two plastic rods that hold it over the coloured plastic lens that also remain glued to the windshield...
