Mine were found to be weeping oil after 4 years and about 40,000 miles, and were an advisory on my MOT test. They were checked 6 months and maybe 5000 miles later and no change, so I'm still using them (50,000 miles). They seem OK to drive and will be checked again at the next MOT test. I was advised verbally at last year's MOT that the shocks were weeping and that 'they all do it'. No problems this year with the MOT - not even a mention. 82,000 miles on the clock. 2012 5.0L S/C

it looks like consensus is in favor of keeping your shocks Frans, only if diler is going to do them for free go and do it otherwise don't.

One of mine is weeping, it shouldn't be but it is, can't be arrissed to change it. It's still under warranty but the dealer says don't bother until it fails on MOT as then the warranty is more likely to do it. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
