Dan, just found out that the abs module on our 2003 petrol L322 is faulty. Main dealers are quoting 3500 for a new unit then up to £5000 total for labour.

You can have yours repaired / rebuilt for a fraction of that cost. I actually bought a guaranteed used one and have had no problems in the 10 months since fitting it. ______________________________

plenty second hand ones for sale on ebay , quite easy to change out - make sure all the numbers match up before buying one though |

My ABS ECU/Module failed, My range rover specialist got replacement part from breakers yard they use and charged me £150 for the part. which was about what they go for on ebay.

@dolphinboy. The brakes are OK, we were getting warnings for abs, hdc and dsc inactive, dealers told wife thar the abs pump and modulator are at fault but now we don't get any warning lights on. I'm only home at weekends and whatever I suggest to do on the car is always wrong! |

Or......if in doubt send the ABS module to one of the repairers and they will check it for faults for a nominal fee.
