Can an '07 MY be set to auto-lock the doors when moving off and can the actual speed be set? |

It must be possible, I can do it on my 2003... Immediately regretted it though, it does my head in now! |

Yes, a main dealer can do it for you - cost me 120 quid (minimum 1 hr labour plus VAT - robbing bastards). However I then rushed out and bought an IIDTool which can also do it. Geoff |

Well worth having this feature activated. As thefts of the vehicle alone become harder (apparently!!🙄🤔) the easiest way is to target the driver. I have had a couple of friends who have had uninvited passengers climb in or attempt to take their vehicle. It also only opens the drivers door first and then the others on a second press. |

In Nigeria I had it set of course as the issues of "uninvited passengers" is quite common, mostly traffic wardens trying to get you to pay the "fine". Security was also a concern. That was on a 2006 MY SC and I needed the Faultmate to set it.

I set it on with Faultmate in my 2004, mainly to reduce the chances of some road rager ripping open my doors or theft while stopped at traffic iights. Ron B. VK2OTC

i appreciate the reasons why some have this feature activated but i think it might cause premature failure of the door lock cable as you have to double pull the handle to open the door.. ... - .- -.
