hi
wonder if anyone can help. yesterday my motor failed to start. it would turn over but wouldnt fire up. when it did it had no pwer and wouldnt go above 30 mph. the fuel pump seems to drone on for about 30 seconds now where before it would stop within seconds.there is no warning lights on. i was told to change the fuel filter which i have tonight but its no better. can anyone help here please

Probably either the in tank pump or the secondary pump under the covers LHS in front of rear wheel (the latter being easier to change!). The old SU fuel pump "thump with a hammer" might give an indication.... .

hi thanks for the reply. the pump where you say is actually making the buzzing noise for over a minute now so it could be that. im tempted to hit it with the hammer tho lol Current. FFRR Vogue. TD6 Java black.
