You can enable the digital speed readout with an IIDTool - so that the main speed readout is in MPH, as is the digital one |

You can enable a digital km/h reading in the centre of the normal mph dial without the IID tool. Simply go into the settings and change the units for the trip computer to km instead of miles. It will then appear. Useful when in Europe with speed limits in km/h and quick and easy to revert on returning to the uk. Current: 2010 Range Rover L322

i think means have the main dial in kph and the little digital in mph so you can compare the kph to what you're used to here in the U.K..

is there a downside to having an IIDtool, does it invalidate any warranty or cause issues in an insurance claim IE car mod etc....has anyone ever had issues where it has been difficult to revert back after changing a settig etc...

I don't suppose it voids any warranty. The prime purpose is to diagnose a fault.

the GAP iidtool cleverly saves all the original settings on activation so if you mess up (and you will ) you can revert back .. ... - .- -.
