Mine sometimes does that when I first start - and I put it down to low pressure until it's built up a flow |

The last one I had did that all the time. It still worked ok but I think there was a problem with the pump. It could be low wster pressure, as said, but if you rule that out I would be inclined to pursue the warranty. John

This used to happen on my old one. My hozelock end on my hose had a valve in it to stop water coming out, except when you had an attachment on or it was plugged it to the jet wash.Called a Hozelock WaterStop. Very handy except the valve inside pushed slightly on the inlet for the jet washer so didn't get 100% flow of water. Replaced with a straight through hose end and worked fine after that. Jordan

I'm on my first Karcher which I bought 23 years ago. Never been the slightest problem. |

Forget Kärcher and go for Kränzle. Hot water, foam spray, high/low pressure everything you want and they last for (almost) for ever. 2017 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 silicon silver

I have a nilfisk, which is ok, but yearn for a kränzle.

Gerni used to be the go to brand. In fact, we use "Gerni" to denote pressure washers much like the British use "hoover"
Does that mean good or bad? In Oz, "the ant's pants" means very good - much like this Ron B. VK2OTC 2003 L322 V8 Auto 2007 Yamaha XJR1300 Previous: 1983, 1986 RRC; 1995, 1996 P38A; 1995 Disco1; 1984 V8 County 110; Series IIA |

things just aren't built like they used to be, the world is now disposable, after a few years it's well out of date and probably knackered |
