Hi everyone, I have just joined the form. Ive had a few Range rovers at this stage but this is my first tdv8. I was giving her a general health check this evening and was happy enough with the condition only needing the two front arms replaced on the left corner disks pads and a service. UNTIL i noticed a nastyish enough oil leak. I had checked the jeep over 5,000 miles ago and seen a small oil leak i presumed it was from the turbos and said id look into properly when i was servicing it. 5,000 miles later (95,000) and the bottom of the engine has more oil on it than id rather. My main question is as you can see in the photos it looks like its coming from where the head gasket but is very hard see. Is this a problem on these engines or for those of you who know is it possibly leaking from somewhere else and just ending up there ? I cant seem to post pic but its in my gallery. Thanks in advance |

There oil on the oil feed pipe. Get a rag up there and clean it up a bit to see where the oil is coming from.
