Hawkeye driving car mad?

I've only had my '07 4.2SC for a few days and this morning I thought I'd go through the menu on my Hawkeye and see what is being reported. I've driven the car for c.250 miles with no warnings and everything functioning properly, plugged the Hawkeye into the diagnostics port, turned the car on, went to read transmission codes and the dash warning lights lit up. The car showed 9 different codes, I didn't make a note of what they were but all suspension options were down. I cleared all codes and turned car off, on restarting, the EML light was still on, I cleared engine codes, restarted and all is fine. I have driven the car again and all is fine.

Is it possible that the Hawkeye could somehow have caused this? is it possible that this could be a low battery voltage? (no battery warning light)

Ian
