Well Dan when eventually you get to the Mountains you will realise what "The Drive" and "The View" is really all about. No better place in Europe to drive/tour than the Alps.

For those who have gone by tunnel, can you confirm that if you miss your allotted time they'll just put you on the next one? |

Yes Dan we go all the time if its same part of day you simply get sllocated next train available. Even days later you only get charged £10 in most cases. Much more flexible than folk realise so ne need to panic ever. |

^ +1 for Flexi especially on way back. If travelling by car (not Motorhome) we always go Flexi and in car you can use the fast lane and free cafe/sandwiches/dinks etc and just turn up whenever and get on the very next crossing... |

As Alistair said at the beginning of the thread it will fit in the standard carriage, honest guv. Ive even been shouted at by the marshall on occasion to get in the normal height lane even though i had booked a high bay. High is an easier fit, but there are less loos and you lose the flexi lounge if you go flexi.

I skipped Flexi - The cost would have gone from £150 to nearly £400. |
