Hi guys. So I know nothing about towbars. Reasonably unlikely to use mine too. But when I bought mine RR in Feb, it did not come with the end of the towbar. I'm sure it has a proper name btw. Newbie like I said!

Also posting a pic of the electrical connector. Is this a good set up? And can I get any end to replace the missing end?

I see bits on eBay reasonably cheap. What type should I look for?

You are missing the swan neck tow ball.
The electric - a 7 pin adapter is plugged into the 13 pin socket.

Depends on what you are towing as to which hook up you will have.

Thanks for the link to the one for sale. It's not something that I need so I'll prob hold out for a bargain on eBay. Or one with the box since it's missing.. can I fit any swan neck? Some around £50 if it's universal. Cheers, Greg

Been looking on eBay. There are a few Westfalia swan necks there, does anyone know can I fit any old detachable neck?

There are ones for Audis, Ford Galaxys etc etc . Any towbar experts out there?

I've a westfalia swan neck on the BMW which I can check tomorrow for you.

Was thinking they look the same. Current cars:

unless you want to take the risk of your caravan overtaking you get the correct tow bar which locks on to fitment
