Bear in mind that the values given are trade/PX values that Network Q are likely to offer you. Not full retail values.

My car is still worth 38k apparently. I wonder how much they barter you down... I always wanted a Censored Corsa. Thumbs Up

The £3k is to cover a service, warranty, may be tyres and other consumables, plus a profit - as much as we would like it car dealers are not non profit making organisations - thats what main agents are for Wink

That is going to be really helpful on my current search and negotiations thanks.
Confirms that at the current prices on the cars I'm looking at there is about £5K margin to be negotiated on so a £2k discount should be achievable on a car still under warranty with not much in the way of cosmetic remedial work needed.

My comment was just tougue and cheek but you need to look at where your buying from and their overheads.

Small guy dealing from home, pay cash let him record a loss and your get the best deal... Whistle

With a bigger dealer you got to chip in for everything you see around you, rent, the receptionist with big tits that smiled at you when you walked in.. Laughing right down to the free coffee machine. 2004 black Vogue TD6

Very helpful. If I sold my D3 I could quite easily afford a 2005 - 2006 FFRR. But have to listen to the mrs "You just bought a car, you're not buying another", I'm paying for the Censored car but you wanted it.

Sorry rant over.
