Selling S/C, how to work out options...

Chaps,

Putting up the S/C shortly to change to a diesel (as much as I LOVE the V8 warble, the missus constantly moaning about diesel vs petrol is louder!!). I want to work out what are the extra options compared to standard, does anyone have a list of the original items compared to the extras perchance? I know I've got some good extras like the FBH but am sure there's other stuff that's an optional extra and I want to be exact in my descriptions.

Thanks in advance!!

Most stuff was standard. I have the same car. They all came with rear entertainment and heated/ cooled seats. Harmon Kardon stereo was standard too. I think there was a way to get the spec from the VIN. It was posted on here a few days ago but I can't find it.

IIRC Martin arranged to get the spec from the VIN 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

The cooled seat was a MY07 change. Perforated leather so that is can blow cold air up your rusty sheriff's badge. Slightly unsettling TBH but nice on a sticky day.

If you install Microcat (google it and get the latest), you can see all options on the car by entering in your VIN number.

Adaptive and cornering lights both standard? (headlights turn but also additional lights on edges that light up)

Heated and cooled memory seats?

Heated steering wheel

Venture Cam?

timer/remote Pre-heater? (yep, actual heater not just vent)

Removable towbar

Additional "puddle lights" in wing mirrors as well as usual "mini spotlights" shining down on foot wells and sills from dash?

I know the RSE with DVD and rear Video /Audio jacks was standard as was the other gumpf but I hear slightly different things from different people so not sure what the definitive answer is. Not yet head of an option mine doesn't seem to have installed which is nice but would be good to document it accurately for a clued up potential buyer. Smile

P.S Except extra wood/leather kit for autobiography... that I know it doesn't have Very Happy

Yep, got the headphones and the remote Smile

You can see what I mean though - a 2007 spec list would be great then you could simply see what was ticked off Smile
