Twist - go for the 405. Means there are more L322's to choose from by mere peasants like myself 😂 |

A sizeable donation to the KVBS* for instance? *(Kurt Verbose Benevolent Society). |

Over here the price of a 4.4 tdv8 starts at about double that of a 3.6, and a L405 price is about double that of a L322 tdv8 4.4.

I would start a car account , £20,000 will keep yours running for many years, by which time we will all be driving around in milk floats. G reg 2.5VM Vogue Portofino red 1991- 1999

Yep, I did the same. In the end it was SWMBO who convinced me to go for the L405 and for the record, THAT IS THE LAST TIME I LISTEN TO HER!!!!

There is no doubt the L405 is a lovely piece of equipment to have on your drive and under your ar5e when you are driving. But, the L322 is too.

Test-drive an L405 (one that you'd actually want to buy) and see what deal you could get and then make your mind up.

I'm in a similar position, albeit my car won't be as clean.

Whilst i voted twist (as life's short and I believe once you've started to think about changing it'll eat you away!), I would however caveat my vote with advising you to wait for the perfect one that ticks your options list requirements... otherwise you'll start your new purchase with a compromise already in your head!
