as alistair says..invest in a GAP iidtool and you can change many car configuration files [ccf] and have things like one press superlock, beep on lock/unlock, digital speedo readout [small but otherwise very useful] etc etc...

Thanks guys but with my technical prowess that sounds like a expensive way to make my car never work again or sound the horn every time it changes gear....😀

Switched my DRL's on with an IID tool. Dead simple, took less than 5 minutes. If you're not confident find a willing 8 year old 2021 D350 Fifty Edition - Carpathian Grey

Seems a bit excessive just to get them activated, don't think I'd ever use it again after. Can't see why the dealer can't do it if it's possible. Will put the idea on the back burner and maybe hunt down a specialist one day to do it. |

I don't believe the ever had DRL's from the factory. That law came in after they stopped making them - in the UK anyway. That's why it's not so easy to do and you need a decent diagnostic tool to modify the config. Not even sure a dealer would do it, but a decent Indy might..... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

tbh the little leds on the headlights are a sad effort for a drl, very few and not very bright ...its best to convert the fogs like a few members [and me] have done.. ... - .- -.

Thanks chaps, will survive without them as can't see the point in getting an iidtool just to turn them on.

I set the option but as they were so dull I quickly returned to the Scandinavian headlight DRL option. |
