Well if you want to throw caution to the wind then how about Nara Bronze with Tan interior.................... but if you prefer to more cautious then Stornoway with Jet or Ivory ........................ or super cautious then Santorini Black with Jet and the jet headling. Should be no problem to find a Black FFRR, there seems to nearly as many of them as there are Black RRSports.

OK guys, what are the colours (& combinations) that would be the hardest to sell & should be avoided? (apart from obviously repulsive colours). |

I am in a similar position. I have a minty 4.2sc. I quite fancy moving to a more sensible diesel. I also promised myself that i wouldnt buy new again. However I don't want to go into a recent 3.6 as they will be unsaleable relative to the 4.4s in a couple of years (when I'll want to move into a used new shape Rangie. So I thought about a used petrol 5.0 as a stop gap. But then the snow came and Land Roveerr dealers could sell all the stock they can get their hands on. Perhaps waiting until the spring when demand has fallen and petrol diesel prices have put the average punter off. |

In fairness the arrival of the TDV8 did not seriously adversely effect the values of the TD6 which have remained strong especially compared to the petrol V8. As the 4.4 has replaced the 3.6 your are not going to have a situation where client chooses a model year (other than 2010) to buy and then has to choose between 4.4 & 3.6 TDV8. If he is looking in the 2009 price bracket it has to be a 3.6 if he is then looking at 2011 model year it will be a 4.4..... Therefore introduction of 4.4 will not make the excellent 3.6 TDV8 unsaleable in any way going forward. |

I bought a pre-reg 2010MY TDv8 Vogue just at the change-over - the deal I got from LPR was fantastic and I would not have been able to afford a FFRR otherwise, I had been looking for a new TDv8 RRS to replace my 3 year old RRS TDv8 but LR had pulled the plug on production and what was left in dealer stock was in colours/ specs I didn't want. TBH I'm not bothering about what it will be worth in 3 years time if/when I come to change again - this far out it is very difficult to predict what will happen to values and today's VAT change was something nobody 3 years ago would have taken into account in their calculations of what they thought their car would be worth when they change in 2011 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |
