normally we each load / unload 350 units per 8 hour shift , 5 or 6 cranes to each ship and 6 to 8 ships per day, last year we moved 8,483 million standard containers at our terminal 2002 td6 vogue, 06 supercharged facelift

Not as big as the E Class of Maersk Line though...................... 404m long and 54m wide and can only go to a few select terminals because of that! 14500 Twenty foot units!

All our home contents are being loaded onto MSC Diego in two weeks, Two 40' containers of stuff.

I found this great website to track progress of cargo ships:

Well the view out of my office window is about to change on Friday morning and we will once again be doing things proper ships do! Got instructions today that we are to proceed to Dubai, empty ship Shocked to pick up a trade running from Jebel Ali (UAE) to Mumbai, Pipavav (Gugurat) Salalah (Oman) and back to Jebel Ali. Don't know how long it will be for and I won't get to India as I am due to leave the ship at Jebel Ali for voyage leave.

@Jez

Good luck retreiving your effects - I assume you booked MSC because they were the cheapest.....................
There's a member over on RRS who sent his brand new RRS to Aussie by MSC when he emigrated - he's still waiting for it to be delivered 4 years later - the container was last heard of somewhere in South America, just as well he had it well insured! Sorry to sound alarmist but they don't have the best reputation in the industry. Remember the MSC Napoli from 2 winters ago? Did you know MSC stands for Mafia Shipping Company - but all their paper say it's Mediterranean Shipping Company................. Rolling with laughter Also known as More Ships Coming as they seem to be expanding and expanding and building ever more and bigger ships! They still have a long way to go to catch up with Maersk Line though.
If you have an iPhone then there is an app for tracking ships at sea called Ship Finder 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Thanks for the heads up Tim, I think Razz We didn't book it as its a company move but good to know they cheaped out, just glad I managed to sell the Boxster in the end as that was nearly coming with us.
I will take look at the tracking app Thumbs Up 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB
