AllComms - IP error

My new to me 322 came with AllComms lead and CD (not an original CD, so perhaps missing a driver somewhere) but I can't seem to get shot of this IP error, to get it to communicate with the car.

Has anyone sorted this before, or indeed does anyone have the necessary drivers?

Thanks
Stephen

Have you sent the debug log to Storey at RSW ? (as the program suggests)

Things may have changed but I do not remember getting a CD with my lead, although I was an early adopter. Just concerned you may have a dodgy Chinese lead. Could well be wrong. .

I've not heard of a CD but I have had mine for 3 years, does the software update ok when you go online?
I think you have to select help or tools to find the update link

going to guess it's a chinese lead, don't bother sending the log to Storey Wilson he won't help you without you paying, I found all this out when trying to buy a second hand all comm's cable myself

go back on to your CD and follow all the instructions, go into device manager and check the cable has been see and the correct driver's are installed for the cable from there open the program and plug the cable in after, if you still get the error it's either a faulty cable or the seller gave you the wrong one

RSW cable

The cable is not expensive.
Original from RSW is about 25USD with delivery charges

As far as I'm aware its not a Chinese copy - I bought it in good faith from a member on this site he supplied the software on a cd (I assumed it was downloaded from RSW site and burnt to a disc for ease of install for me) the lead came with the activation code and had updated a number of times, it worked OK for me without issue I included the lead when I sold my FFRR
As had been suggested if you check with Storey you may need to re-register it with him

that's the problem, storey wilson wants you to buy a new license when you sell you cable for £120+ for a license and support, I'm not saying for some it's not worth it but for me no thanks

the problem I saw with second hand cable and licence code is -

you get 1 licence registered to 1 computer if that computer fails you have to email storey wilson for him to release the licence from the old computer, so if you don't have control of the original email address that is registered with storey wilson you then have a dead cable

there is a version of allcomms out there that doesn't need a licence but it is an older version, it quite happy being ran in a virtual machine to

As said I bought it as a used item, ran the software on my laptop and it worked didn't email Storey or buy a new code for it - guess I was just lucky that it worked for me

Thanks for the info, all.

As Foulolron says, the software looks like what you'd get from RSW (Having watched the advice videos) and happily updates with no issues. I'm convinced that it's a genuine one, but the only issue RE support from RSW is that my email address isn't the one registered to it.

I've made sure the drivers provided are all installed and up to date, but that hasn't made a difference, and I still get the same errors.

This is on Win 7 Pro - I might try it on my old XP toughbook to see if anything changes, but otherwise, does anyone have any suggestions?

The most recent debug log says;
