height sensor removal and replacement?

Hi all had a good look around and there is lots of threads on height sensors and faults about them, i'm just wondering how easy it is to remove and replace with a new one? i don't exactly have a lot of space to work in so i'm kind of hoping its just a case of jacking up the car and getting under neath with a few tools then ten minutes later its done..........or is this wishful thinking? lol

Provided the bolts don't snap I reckon 10 mins is fair, hardest part is jacking up and taking the wheel off Thumbs Up
Good luck with it

You can do the front ones without removing the wheels, but need the wheel off for the rear ones.

From memory, having just removed a rear one, 5/32 hex or Torx 25 for the two little bolts holding the sensor in place, 13mm both sides where the arm connects. For the rear, I find it best to release the sensor first, then turn it around so you can get at the clip to remove the electrical connector. .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink
