Looking for my next RR and it's going to be an L405. Had a look at the LR approved list and there aren't many 5.0 V8 petrols around so wondered if anyone on here has moved from the L322 5.0 SC to the L405 equivalent? If so what's the performance like as well as ride and the all important "smiles per mile" 😆 "On first name terms with my local Dealer......now."

I made the move. The 8 speed gearbox in the L405 makes a big difference to the performance and enjoyment, also the ARC and quicker steering. The L405 5.0 is great to drive on twisty roads as well (this was not the L322's strong point). |
