They come on to speed heat the interior so it'll take a while to heat up if you pull the fuse. They tend to smoke because they don't get a lot of use

It's been cold alot lately so it's been kicking in every morning, and smokes everytime

I think there is a timed climate setting in the dash display. So you can use it when parked and not have the engine running. You can also set a time for it to come on. 2018 L405 Autobiograpghy

Yep I've seen that on the screen, it's says 'auxiliary ventilation '....... is that the FBH then chap ??? |

I think so. Have a play with it. Should have two time settings. But if the engine is not run in a 24 hour period it won't work. Saves to battery going flat 2018 L405 Autobiograpghy

I'll give it a whirl at the weekend and see how it goes... is it worth running some injector cleaner through the fuel tank do you think ??? |

Aux ventilation is for hot weather.

Ummmmm..... Can't say I've seen 'aux heating' on my screen to be honest, just 'auxiliary ventilation " |

If it's not there then it can be enabled using IID or similar.

wish mine would smoke then id now its working tried direct on aux heating and put it on timed nowt :cry:got the basic iid but thats got no test for my year 2003 |
