Ok so we know that the warning re the 'key fob battery low' can mean a host of other problems that the hard re-set usually gets rid of, but is there any (simple) way of telling if that is what it actually means when it pops up? QUID FACIUM TIBI

Yeah - the battery that is in the fob reads ok, but I keep getting the message about every fourth time I use the remote. Does it show the error when you are standing further away than usual when you press the remote or does the system check the battery whilst the key is in the ignition? QUID FACIUM TIBI

Mine shows the message as soon as the battery goes off perfect, normally about 3 or 4 months of usage. Avoid cheap batteries as well, those packs of 2 for a quid in the pound shop are very short lived. The ones from the dealer are expensive but they do seem to last longest.
