Turbos back and rebuilding will commence , also had handbrake module changed, rear suspension dropped necessitating cutting out a seized drop link and discovered a bent rear caliper slider. The fun continues!! 2015 4.4 AB

Car collected today and all good except for the james bond style.smoke.screen for about 10 miles. Tracking done and aircon regassed.

Small issue with the air suspension. When i collected the car , tthe offroad screen showed the the front right wheel was lower than the others. Iid tool used and height measurement mechanism was not working. Quick inspection and plug was not fully seated so a big push and all good EXECPT when using the switch ( 07 model ) flashes to show downward movemnt 2015 4.4 AB

Screen froze, movement but it also flashes downward when the car is rasing.

Again air suspension perfect just switch flashes down for all movements up or down. Any thoughts ? 2015 4.4 AB

Good news that it's mainly fixed. Also good to know the turbos can be economically rebuilt.

Sorry can't help either EAS issue.

I'm assuming the black smoke was oil residue in the exhaust. ______________________________

Good to hear you have it back on the road and hopefully the other problems will be easily sorted.

I changed the turbo on a Kia a while back and was annoyed because I ended up having to take the manifold off too, thanking my lucky stars now.

I think I used these guys and found them good.

I see your close to me , i have a reconditioning kit for a Hitachi ( the one fiited to the 02 -08 cars i think ) air compressor, i found out i have the later compressor fitted so the kit is going free if its any good to you.
