Got to work with a few minuets to spare the other day and grabbed the last parking spot. Was a bit of a tight squeeze (I know - most are with an FF) and it took me a couple of goes and I was in a rush but finally managed it, pulled on handbrake and turned off engine, then S**T the key wont come out!!!!!!!!!!! Sat there trying to remember all the various threads re this problem, tried starting the engine, worked fine, but the KEY STILL WONT COME OUT and now I'm late and I start worrying what will happen if I leave the key in the ignition all day in an unattended car and what would the insurance say about that and what will I have to do to fix it and who can I ask for help and why did I get out of bed that morning in the first place and why do these things always happen when your in a hurry and can I hide the key by draping a rag over it and THE K-E-Y WONT COME THE F***K OUTTTTTTTTT - hang on, I was in such a rush I forgot to put the transmission in PARK, it was still in NEUTRAL dont think I will do that again  QUID FACIUM TIBI

Oops! I thought my shifter had jammed because I couldn't remove my key in neutral when I first got the fatty.. took a while for the penny to drop ..
