This may or may not help as I have a supercharged with FBH but when my park heating packed up it was due to a failed auxiliary cooling pump , now I'm assuming yours is a desiesel but it does sound like something is not circulating somewhere. 2008 MY Supercharged

Thanks Axle, my next step would be to try and test all the individual components, fuel pump, water pump on FBH, glow plug but I don't have (or feel inclined to make ) a bench test rig.........

These things are really simple. If it's not firing and you tested the electrics, it will be fuel pump. You should hear it clicking every second on initial stat up gradually rising to about half second intervals. It only takes a small leak in the pick up side to prevent fuel getting drawn up. Try disconnecting the burner end to see if it's pumping. If it fails to ignite the pump gets shut down so listen carefully as soon as you test. No7 - 2003 V8 Vogue |

Fuel pump is located nearly central to the vehicle, between the rear axle and fuel tank.

Is the remote switched off. As I wired an aftermarket remote on mine if it's on the aux heating doesn't come on. My fuel pump doesn't start to tick for a good 30 or 40 seconds as it seems to cycle a purge etc first .

Interesting thoughts Mark/John - will have a look at that loom from Disco3 if I get a chance.
