Help! Water coming into cabin

When i park my Range Rover pointing downhill and it rains I get water coming in.

Yesterday it seemed to be dripping from around the rear view mirror. Today from behind the liner at the top of the windscreen on drivers side.

If I park pointing uphill no water.

Is this possibly because my front sunroof drain holes are blocked?

If it is, how do I unblock them?

I've tried with thick strimmer wire and cat 5 cable. But going from the sunroof end I can only get the wire in about 10cm.

Any help gratefully received.

Thanks in advance for any help.

..or it could be the tailgate seal and the water running down to the front...blocked sunroof drains are a common problem, for solutions do a forum search ..

Thanks, Stan.

Probably a stupid question ...

But if the tailgate seal is broken, wouldn't I get water in the boot when parked the other way round?

have you checked the wheel well and in particular the electronics in the near side cubby.....it might be the sunroof drains as you suggested but tailgate seal is a common problem ..

I haven't. But I will.

Is the theory that if they're not wet, it's more likely to be the drains?
