Those don't work as well as they should... they tend to run out of lift before the wheels get off the ramp... by experiment it was found to be an advantage to start in high mode and use some large packers... where as a 2 post lift is by far a better option, except you don't have as much storage space for the bits coming off Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

I have the green strongman clifton as shown in the first post in my garage - had it since Feb last year. I don't use it very much but its important when I do. It was able to lift my 2005 Dodge Ram which believe it or not is a similar weight to an L322. It comes in a forklift style wooden box which contrary to the video you cannot remove the raised forklift sections from so getting it out of the box was a nightmare. Had to cut the box off while supporting and lowering it from two jacks. You can move it about the place if you are strong and mine at least came with the hydraulic fluid as well, you just need the correct power supply and off you go.

I've got an inexpensive Chinese made 2-post lift designed for low ceilings. I've got 9'3" height in the garage, and these posts come in just over 9', fit without modification. 8000lbs load certified, had no problem lifting the Rover. Mostly I use it for low-and-light sports cars which it can lift high enough for me to sit comfortably under and work on, but with the RR I can get the wheels about 6" off the ground with the garage door open, or 24" off the ground with the door shut.

Strongman Tools do a 4 Ton 2 post lift that's almost a thousand ponds cheaper than that scissor lift, and is far more useful
