Have my sympathy,sounds like they had their work cut out breaking in,total scum and no excuse for it.Would bring back the stocks if i had my way.

Thanks. I wont know for sure until I am back but looks like nothing else has gone. Could have been worse, classic car, Def 90 and the usuall bunch of tools. Wifes had a good look round and everything seems to be there.

Found damage to front door this morning so they did try to break in to the house as well.

If you get a wireless alarm system it dead easy to fit an extra wireless PIR in the garage. I've done the same for my shed. I've programmed it to be monitored 24hrs a day. I just disable it at the control panel when I go out to the shed.

I think I'm going to develop a DNA collection tool as additional security. Something like a big a** arrow from an airpowered cannon type thing..................... MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Thanks for the replies. I'm sure you all have adequate security in place, I thought the same. It might not hurt to just double check. If you think you might need that extra security light, dummy camera etc - its probably worth fitting it sooner rather than later.

Glad it wasnt too bad Willy, I know everyone cant do it but I have a couple of Great Danes who live in a heated barn with access to most of the land, touch wood never had a problem |
