Presumably you've got a 3 month warranty on the vehicle - don't all dealers have to do this now ??

Sounds like the compressor. The fact the car stays the same height overnight suggests the airbags are fine.

I agree with Ian. It sounds like compressor. I had this along with forward alert not available. Had the compressor replaced and everything is ok now. |

Can i suggest starting the car from cold, leave it running for ten minutes (without touching the suspension settings) then press off road height and report back with your findings... |

Apologies for the delay in coming back. Tried the ten minutes as suggested, still would not go to offroad height. Took the car to an independent garage for a full report. It has confirmed that the compressor needs replacing.

There is a cheap fix for this ,it is just the piston ring in the compressor I fixed mine for £20.Google it on ebay 'l322 air compressor piston ring' then look up same fix on 'you tube' where there is a 10 min video to show you how to fix it.You may however have to get it 'reset' with a plug in when you have finished ,see the other forum subject on this 'technical' page!! |

Hi there, sorry to raise an old thread but was wondering if this issue was resolved and if so, what the remedy was.

Seems the same symptoms as above and with mine. Potentially a new compressor unit needed by the sounds of things. Was this the cure for Silverwebfox? |
