When I found the file on the GAP website I had the option on my iPad Pro to open it in iBooks, I did and it opens perfectly. In fact I do this on almost every document I read, e.g. the workshop manual and the the handbook for my Range Rover.

Don't know if it is relevant but the Gap system will only work on iPad3 and later. Perhaps not relevant for the manual. John

Thanks weegie. I'm only trying to get the manual onto the iPad (I have a number of other manuals there for quick reference). I don't have the BT tool. Ron B. VK2OTC
