Just bought 5 litres genuine to do the job. If you do a search on PDA500310 (5 litres) you will get some idea of prices (PDA500300 is the 1 litre size). John

I was always told that OAT antifreeze was for 2006 on models and for everything before that it's ethylene glycol based but containing no methanol and has to have silicate based non phosphate corrosion inhibitors.

I think the problem is that rave differs from the handbook, they both contradict each other ______________________________

Mine (TD6) had the pink stuff (OAT) when I got it 8 years ago so been using that since, not had any issues.... .

rs 2000 totally agree but I have all my motors serviced at main dealers and you have to ask them to change had an argument with beadles to get them to do this year on my 2004 was done by lookers after asking 3 years ago lot to be said for servicing yourself if you have time for sure |
