It depends on whether it will decode HD (DVB-T, MPEG4). I haven't looked closely at what has been done but, if it is a conversion which only accepts SD (MPEG2) then it won't.

PS. I have just looked at the first link and it states MPEG4 so should work in France.

Afraid that's the problem. The digital decoder is SD only. The OP is trying a different set up. John
