United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Baltic Blue

Hi Bob,

I think the GAP tool can read and clear fault codes for any VIN it is just the advanced stuff which is VIN locked. I'm also not sure if it will do the diagnostic on vehicles before MY2010. See extract from GAP manual.

4.7.5 Fuel Burning/Auxiliary Heater (L322-10, L319, L320)
Fuel Priming
This routine will remove air from the system (if present) replacing it with fuel.
Check Operation
This routine will activate the fuel burning/auxiliary heater regardless of the ambient and engine temperatures.
This routine will begin by clearing faults stored in the ECU. If the routine fails, proceed with
a read fault and fix the issue.

Hope this helps 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE

It will read and clear faults for other vehicles. It is the CCF which is VIN locked. Mine is a MY2005 which, according to his avatar, is the same as Bob's. John

Just out of interest have you checked your battery voltage while you are trying to light the burner as it will shut itself off if it drops to 11.5V IIRC 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE

actually no i haven't but i will put a test on it and check, but i have also tried to run it with the engine running so i imagine its not that, as the battery would be under charge from the alternator which would be higher than that one would imagine but i will check; but anyway, i will trying the tool in the next few days so will be interesting in what that shows up

Wink hopefully
