Mines takes about 10secs to get from access to normal height..then it can take between 30/45 secs to properly reach off road height...i find if I switch between different heights quickly it slows....must need time to build up pressure in the air reservoir |

With the car in High mode turn off the engine and have a listen by each wheel.. if you've a leak then you'll hear it.. I suspect that it's just an older compressor.. but I will say that the ffrr (early ones) do take their time to finalise the height setting.. they take a few seconds to get within a few mm of the final height and then take forever adjusting it They can't make their minds up and it feels the need to tweek it for a minute.. all the time the light is flashing.. but their is all detectable movement Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... I had this issue when I first got my Range, was the original compressor. Replaced and was a lot faster raising the car up after and less noisy.

I think if your car was being too slow to change ride height you'd see the "Vehicle is raising slowly" message on the dash display. 2006MY 4.2 SC

^^ I've never seen that one ever.. reckon that must be a later software version.. I've only ever got EAS INACTIVE, and LOW MODE 35 MPH MAX and I was 40 miles away from home That was a very, very long day Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

There's also an air tank in the off/side sill, mine had a piece of wood stuck in it letting all the air out Three things in a blokes life his dog,his car and a Cornish pasty, nothing else matters.
