Well tonight, the night after i posted would you believe i noticed that the car does infact have a flashing alarm led, However it is on the right hand side of the instrument cluster and can only really be seen if you were say looking in thru the passenger door.... How dumb...

I was going to post that last night, but have only managed to see mine when looking at an angle through the drivers side rear passenger door.... couldn't explain it very well so decided not to.....
