L322 Gearbox hesitation

Hi, I have a 2003 L322 TD6 and in the morning when engine and gearbox are cold, when i start the engine and engage "Drive" - and press the accelerator - nothing happens. The car will behave as if in neutral for about 30 secs before engaging.

Can anyone advise me on the cause and solution to the problem.

May well be low fluid level in the gearbox and the TC draining down. I would check the fluid level as first step. John
