United Kingdom 2015 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

I agree with all that's been said.

One additional comment from me:

I always pay the small additional premium for legal cover.
My daughter had to use this when she hit a car which pulled out of a side turning right in front of her and then tried to claim it was her fault!

Also, I never pay to protect my no claims discount. Whilst the company may continue with the % discount, they hoik up the pre-discount premium if you make a claim and you have to stick with them to get the discount.

I change insurance company every year to get the best price as most insurance companies jack up their prices at renewal in the hope that the less savvy will just cough up. If it ain't broken, fix it till it is.

Quick update to an old thread!!

The other party didn't report that they had been in an accident to their insurance but once my side sent over the bill for the repairs they claimed that I reversed into them and said that they wanted me to pay for damage to their car!!
.

I had the exact same issue a few years ago. Sat at traffic lights, felt a slight nudge from the rear and then an irate man banging on my window a minute later. Offside wing and door to his car had extensive damage yet there was zero damage to mine. Long story short, ended up in court as he claimed I'd reversed into him, went armed with a decent solicitor and an extensive report from a an accident specialist and an engineer who both concluded that it was impossible that my car had not caused the damage to his. Lost the case!!!!
